I don’t think he’s alive anymore after that.

Wtf happened to dress codes? It looks this girl isn’t even wearing pants. Also those shoes are terrible.

Trust me, there are worse clothes being “worn” out there.

I know, this is just surprising for a school. I feel like she would have gotten sent to the principal if this was my high school back in 2010 or whatever. It’s crazy how fast high school students become utterly foreign to you. It keeps weirding me out thinking that the freshman I will be encountering for my final (5th) year of college next year would have been in 8th grade when I was doing all of my ridiculous freshman shenanigans. Getting older is weird.

I’m a freshman in college now but even I feel out of touch with the “youths”. But I suppose it’s a good thing as I don’t want to be compared to them anyway.

Why is this vending machine 90% Sprite?

Where do you even buy shorts this ugly?

I remember it was pretty weird talking with somebody still in high school the summer after my freshman year, and they said “yeah everybody is listening to…” and proceeded to list all these bands I’d never even heard of.

Oh how I wish people still listened to music from bands as opposed to boy/girl bands, self-proclaimed DJ’s, Skrillex, computers, dial-up connecting noises, etc.

Vending machines actually can’t sell soda anymore. Or that might be a NY law, can’t remember.

Lol I couldn’t even tell you wtf people are listening to these days. I remember mentioning Mumford & Sons in a comment on somebody’s post about music for college freshmen a little while back (they were pretty big my freshman year), and I was told that nobody listens to them anymore.

and for the record: I hate Mumford & Sons.

Then what is all that green stuff?

I don’t understand why people have to listen to what everyone else is listening to. Why don’t they just find music on their own?

No idea, but I could be wrong on the soda ban.

That’s very true, although there is a huge social element to music. I’ve been pretty isolated living in France for the past 9 months, so now I listen to a bunch of music none of my friends have heard of. Pretty lame when I try and talk about it and nobody has any idea what I’m trying to say. Hopefully I’ll get some people hooked on it though.

No I feel like I’ve heard of that, or at least the idea being tossed around. Sounds legit.

Yeah, all my friends listen to rap or wub wub stuff, which is typical of people at this age now, but I’m the oddball hehe.

I remember getting double decker fudge rounds out the vending machines in high school.

I get the option of buying bottled water, some type of juice that probably doesn’t have enough sugar because it’s “healthy”, granola bars, and a few other bars.
